You scan the card
Your customer shows the QR code on their card, you hold it up to the camera of your tablet or phone. Two coffees? Two stamps at once.
Digital stamp card for local shops
Your shop's stamp card, on your customer's phone. No app to install, no account, no cards vanishing in a coat pocket. You stamp with one tap, your customer watches it land.
Scroll on and the card fills up. Or tap it and stamp it yourself.
Why
Half-full cards sit in wallets, coat pockets and the washing machine. Your customer starts over every time, and comes back less gladly.
A friendly colleague, a stamp left in a drawer, a card filled in at home. You never know what you are really giving away.
Loyalty apps want a download, an account and an email address. Hardly anyone does that for a pastry.
How it works
At your counter hangs a poster with a QR code. One scan and the card is on their phone: no app, no account, no name.
With every purchase you scan the card on your counter tablet, or your customer types the code from your screen. The stamp lands on their phone straight away.
When the card is full, your customer gets a reward code. They show it at the counter, you redeem it with one tap. The card starts again.
Two ways to stamp
Your customer shows the QR code on their card, you hold it up to the camera of your tablet or phone. Two coffees? Two stamps at once.
Your counter screen shows a six-digit code. Your customer types it on their card and gets the stamp. Handy when it's busy: you don't have to do a thing.
Who it's for
The rewards below are examples. You choose how many stamps and what your customer gets for them.
After 10 loaves: a pastry of your choice.
After 6 haircuts: the seventh at half price.
After 8 visits: a large portion of chips on the house.
After 9 coffees: the tenth is on us.
Fair play
The code on your counter screen changes every 30 seconds, and as soon as it is used. Sending on a photo of your screen helps nobody.
With the code, a card can get only one stamp per ten minutes (you choose the pause). At the counter you can still give two stamps for two coffees.
Whoever tries too many wrong codes has to wait. Six digits that change every half minute can't be guessed.
Every reward has its own code that can be redeemed only once. Your counter sees at once whether it was already used.
Privacy
A card is a random number and a count. No name, no email address, no phone number, no location. So there is nothing to leak either.

Is your question not here? Mail contact@nealvdv.be and the maker himself will answer.
No. The card is a web page that stays on the phone. Whoever wants can put it among their apps with 'Add to home screen', but there's no need.
The card has a button to move it: it makes a link your customer sends to themselves and opens on the new phone. Without that link a card can't be found again, because we don't know whose it is. That is the price of having no account.
A tablet or phone with a browser and, to scan, a camera. An old tablet will do. We pair the device with a one-time link; after that it stays paired.
Yes: from 3 to 20 stamps, a reward in your own words (in Dutch, French, English and German), your own card colour and the pause between two stamps with the code.
Yes. The card, the counter and this website are in Dutch, French, German and English. Your customer sees the card in their own language.
Your customer still sees their card, but stamping needs internet, on both sides. A phone with mobile data at the counter is enough.
Who's behind it
Stempelkaart is built and maintained by nealvdv, a web developer who makes websites and software for local businesses in Belgium. No investors who want your customer data later, no fees per stamp. You mail the maker himself.
